36 Days of Type

Background

I participated in the project 36 Days of Type  because been looking for an exercise to get me sketching and working on something creative outside of client work. This one was great because it combined illustration with typography (which I LOVE) and it was a daily practice so I had to keep it up for the whole 36 days. I chose to actually draw a letter each day rather than putting them together beforehand so they took on a bit of a life of their own depending on what was happening that day but I kind of prefer this collection as it’s a reflection of those days and not just a collection of letters. It was a lot of work but it definitely pushed me creatively and it was nice to have some dedicated time to draw for that month.
